Think of it like a digital scratchpad. Our server uses its active memory (RAM) to temporarily hold your file just long enough to analyze it and extract the text.
Once the process is complete, the scratchpad is instantly wiped clean. The file is gone forever. It's the digital equivalent of writing a note on a whiteboard and erasing it immediately after you're done.
To prevent abuse and monitor our service health, we keep a simple, anonymous log of each request. This log includes:

We keep a record of API calls for statistics analytics and to prevent abuse. This information is separate from your files and contains no personal data from the documents themselves.
We use trusted third-party services to provide our core functionality. Your uploaded files are securely sent to the AI model you select for processing.
User authentication is handled by Firebase (from Google). These partners have their own robust privacy policies and are leaders in the industry.
